Vigeon Technology presented its flagship smoke evacuation system at MEDICA 2024, one of the world’s largest medical trade fairs. Our team connected with global distributors, surgical technology innovators, and hospital buyers to share our vision for smoke-free laparoscopic procedures.
Vigeon participated in the 2025 Taiwan Healthcare+ Expo, showcasing its integrated surgical smoke evacuation solutions designed to improve visualization, safety, and workflow efficiency in minimally invasive surgery. The event provided an opportunity to engage with surgeons, hospital leaders, and industry partners on clinical needs, regulatory readiness, and future collaborations.
Happy to share that Vigeon’s smoke evacuation device received clearance from the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA), validating its safety and efficacy in minimally invasive surgery!
Our device was showcased at the JSOG 77th Annual Congress in Yokohama, Japan, with our partner Harada Japan highlighting its potential application in gynecological laparoscopic procedures. Vigeon engaged with Japanese OB/GYN specialists to explore clinical collaborations and pilot trials.
Vigeon partnered with Lily Medical Taiwan to present clinical data and use cases at the Annual Meeting of the Taiwan Surgical Association (TSA). Our co-founder Dr. Daniel Lai delivered a talk on improving OR air quality and visibility through proximal smoke evacuation.
Our smoke evacuation device has officially received approval from the Taiwan Food and Drug Administration (TFDA). This milestone marks a major step forward in bringing safer, clearer laparoscopic solutions to clinical use in Taiwan.
